1. Data controller

2. What data we handle and why

Contact and table booking requests

• Data handled: name, e-mail address, phone number, party size, message content.
• Purpose: answering your enquiry, arranging and confirming a table booking.
• Legal basis: your consent and the preparation of a contract (the booking) — Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR.
• Retention: 6 months after the enquiry is closed, then deleted.

Bookings by phone

• Data handled: name, phone number, date and party size of the booking.
• Calls are not recorded. Booking notes are deleted after the day of the booking.

Website operation

• Technical logs required for operation (IP address, timestamp, errors) are created for a short period, solely for secure operation.
• The website uses no marketing or profiling tracking. Details in our cookie notice.

Embedded Facebook content

Posts from our Facebook page are embedded on the home page. When the embed is displayed, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. may learn your IP address and place cookies. See facebook.com/privacy for details of their data processing.

3. Processors

• Hosting and operations provider: Lovable Labs Incorporated (San Francisco, CA, United States).
• E-mail delivery provider: messages submitted through the form reach us by e-mail, for which we use an e-mail service provider.

We do not transfer or sell data to third parties for marketing purposes. Only authorised staff of the restaurant have access to it.

4. Data security

The website runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. The administration interface is password protected and accessible only to authorised staff.

5. Your rights

• withdrawal of consent and objection to processing,
• data portability.

Send your request to hello@tavaszvendeglo.hu. We reply within 30 days at the latest. If you disagree with our reply, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu, www.naih.hu. You may also seek a judicial remedy at the competent court.

6. Children's data

We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 16. Bookings should be made in the name of an adult.
